One setup fee, one monthly subscription, all the users you need. No per-seat tax that punishes you for sharing reports across the organisation. Currency in USD — we'll quote in AUD, ZAR, CAD or your local equivalent on contract.
Prove the value on a single project before committing to broader rollout. No long-term commitment.
For mining companies running active CAPEX portfolios who need their primary reporting platform to actually work.
For large mining groups running multiple projects or business units, and for EPCs and project services firms who deliver Indxdb-powered reporting to their own clients.
// All tiers include hosting on Azure, capacity management, and core platform updates
Standard tier covers most teams. These bolt on cleanly when you outgrow the basics.
The full Resource Modeller toolkit — scenario modelling, benchmark matching, exec-ready outputs.
Beyond what's in the standard suite — custom Power BI report builds, branded to your house style.
Custom connectors to internal systems beyond our standard SAP / Oracle / P6 / Excel ingestion.
The consulting firm behind the platform, available on retainer to help interpret what your data is telling you.
For a Tier 1 mining company running a $500M+ CAPEX portfolio, Indxdb at the Standard tier is roughly $50K–$60K per year all-in. A single project controller's salary covers the platform across an entire portfolio.
You'll spend more than that on Excel licences and weekend overtime in the project controls team. The maths isn't subtle.
// We'll happily walk you through the business case in a 30-minute call.
Mining capital projects don't pause because a report isn't loading. Here's what's included on every tier and what the commitments are.
Platform is inaccessible for active users, a scheduled report has failed to deliver, or data has not refreshed for more than 4 hours during business hours. We treat missed report delivery as a P1 — not a feature request.
Platform uptime is backed by Azure's infrastructure SLA. Our 99.9% commitment refers to application-layer availability. Azure's own SLA for compute and storage components is 99.95%+. Both are documented in your service agreement.
Per tenant. One subscription covers your tenant — unlimited projects, unlimited internal users (subject to fair use). We don't believe in punishing you for getting more value out of the platform by sharing it across the organisation.
Tenant provisioning, branding configuration, custom domain setup, SSO connection, deployment of the standard mining report pack, connection to up to two source systems, and a hand-over training session. Roughly two weeks of work, fixed price.
No, but you can use one. Indxdb runs on our Azure infrastructure by default. For Enterprise customers who want platform deployment inside their own Azure environment, that's available — quoted separately.
If you're an EPC running projects for, say, three different mining clients, each client gets their own branded portal — their logo, their domain, their colour scheme. Your delivery team sees the unified portfolio view across all of them. One licence, multiple client-facing tenants. That's what Enterprise tier is built for.
Yes. Pilot is 3 months minimum, no auto-renewal. Standard is annual. On exit, you get your data exported in standard formats. Reports built on Power BI can be migrated to your own Power BI tenancy if that's where you want them. We're not in the business of holding data hostage.
We discount meaningfully for multi-year commitments — typically 15–25% off the monthly rate for a 3-year term. Large mining capital programmes run for years, and your reporting platform should price like it's part of the programme, not a quarterly software subscription.
Bespoke report development beyond the standard suite, custom integrations to non-standard source systems, and Mventech advisory engagements are quoted separately. Everything we ship as platform is included. We're upfront about the line.
Power BI is an excellent report-building tool. Indxdb is what makes Power BI usable as a client-facing product. Native Power BI gives you a workspace — your clients get Microsoft branding, confusing navigation, and no white-labelling. Indxdb gives your clients a portal that looks like yours, with curated navigation, SSO, and mining-specific data models pre-loaded. You keep Power BI as the engine. We make it feel like a product.
We've been through enterprise IT security reviews at Tier 1 mining companies. We provide a security pack on request: architecture diagram, data flow documentation, encryption standards, Entra ID integration specs, and the Microsoft Azure compliance certifications the platform inherits. For clients requiring it, we also support deployment into your own Azure subscription so data never leaves your environment. Most IT reviews complete in 2–4 weeks with our documentation.
Projects end. Your subscription doesn't have to. If your portfolio scales down, we have a conversation. You can drop to a lower tier, move to a smaller project count, or pause and archive your tenant. Archived tenants retain all data in cold storage at a nominal cost — so you can reactivate without losing history if a project restarts. You're not locked into a full subscription for a project that's now in care and maintenance.
No. Setup is handled by Indxdb as part of the onboarding fee. You'll need to provide a read-only service account for your source systems and have your IT team approve the DNS change for your custom subdomain. That's typically an hour of IT time on your side. We do the rest — data model configuration, Power BI report deployment, branding, SSO connection, and user onboarding.
30 minutes. We'll show you the platform on a sample mining portfolio and walk you through what your tenant would actually cost — based on your project profile, not a price list.
